ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ် (Heosemys depressa)^[၁] သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အနောက်ဘက်ရှိ ရခိုင်တောင်တန်းများနှင့် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် နိုင်ငံနှင့် နယ်နိမိတ်ချင်းထိစပ်နေသော စစ်တကောင်းတောင်တန်းဒေသများ၏ ဒေသရင်းလိပ်မျိုးစိတ်ဖြစ်ပြီး မျိုးသုဉ်းလုနီးပါး အန္တရာယ်ရှိနေသည့် လိပ်မျိုးစိတ်လည်းဖြစ်သည်။^[၃] ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ်သည် ရေထဲတွင်သာမက ကုန်းပေါ်တွင်ပါ ရှင်သန်နိုင်သော်လည်း အရွယ်ရောက်ပြီးသော လိပ်ကြီးများသည် ကုန်းပေါ်တွင် နေထိုင်ခြင်းကို နှစ်သက်ကြသည်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အနောက်ဘက်ခြမ်းတွင် ဖမ်းမိသော ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ်များကို တရုတ်နိုင်ငံရှိ တောရိုင်းတိရိစ္ဆာန် ကုန်သည်များက ရောင်းဝယ်ဖောက်ကားလျက်ရှိသည်။ ၂၀၀၃ ခုနှစ်တွင် သုတေသီများသည် ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံသို့ တင်သွင်းလာခဲ့သည့် ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ်ကိုးကောင်အား သုတေသနအတွက် နမူနာများကို ကောက်ယူကာ သီးသန့်စုဆောင်းထားသည်။^[၄]
