ပတူငှက် (Nyctyornis athertoni) ကို အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသတွင် တွေ့ရလေ့ရှိသည်။ ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ် မတ်လ ၄ ရက်နေ့တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ သယံဇာတနှင့် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ထိန်းသိမ်းရေး ဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ သစ်တောဦးစီးဌာနမှ ယင်းငှက်ကို မျိုးဆက်ပျက်သုဉ်းမည့်အန္တရာယ်ရှိသဖြင့် ကာကွယ်ထားသည့် တောရိုင်းတိရစ္ဆာန်များအဖြစ် ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာခဲ့သည်။[၄]
