New user should equally be counted in voting

I have noticed that current sysops are attempting to invalidate the new user voting by virtue of content contribution. This rule is not application in Myanmar Wikipedia. There is already allegation that "Nobody read well Myanmar Wikipedia font except MyMyanmar clique." Also if we look at the statistics, there are 287 articles and 697 users. If we do simple mathematics, average user has chance to contribute 0.4 articles per user. Unfair practice in sysops clique make contributors disappointed and turn away (NT, MZ, MMITPros, YAMC). I strong believe new user should equally be counted in voting or even regulars should be kept out for revolutionary change in Myanmar Wikipedia. Okisan 00:20, 10 ဇူ​လိုင်​ 2008 (UTC)

I don't agree with this. Even though the Myanmar Wikipedia lacks formal policies on adopting administrators, right now, the only indicator we can go by in selecting is through contributions. For example, you have yet to write a single article or edit a single article (link). As in the English Wikipedia, we should adopt policies that do not leave out potential candidates but one where the most capable are chosen, based on the evidence they provide in their work on this Wikipedia. If you take a moment to look here: en:Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/nominate#To_nominate_yourself, it states "Take a moment for self-evaluation. Try to consider your contributions to Wikipedia the way that others will see them." When we have people who have made very few meaningful edits nominate themselves without proving themselves, how can we tell if they will be good at being sysops? Wikipedia does have a policy. Okisan's request for Adminship is inadmissible; most of the votes for him are inadmissible. The votes against my candidacy are also inadmissible. Why? Okisan and almost all of those voters have too little edit history to be listened to. A person has to have experience before Admin privileges can be given. All we have seen on the Requests for Adminship page has been mob thuggery. It is regrettable. It is not doing the Myanmar Wikpedia any good. Thank for your advice. Except here, I have great Burmese content in MMITPros. It is more important for finding a way to win the heart of users. You or me or any sysop cannot do it. Just 300 article for one year of life with Wikipedia.org domain name is unimpressive typing rate. Forming a sysop clique and threatening or teaching is not a good way to treating new user. I can understand how do you fee, however Wikipedia is the world's most famous encyclopedias in many languages. It is totally free but you don’t get any business advantage, just volunteer.
