ဆော်ဂမ်ပြောင်းသည် မြက်မျိုးရင်းဝင် ပန်းပွင့်သောအပင် မျိုးစိတ် ၂၅ ခုထဲမှ တခုဖြစ်သည်။ ယင်းမျိုးစိတ်များထဲမှ အချို့သည် လူစားသုံးနိုင်သော နှံစားပင်အဖြစ်လည်းကောင်း တိရစ္ဆာန်စာအဖြစ်လည်းကောင်း တံမြက်စည်းပြုလုပ်ရာတွင်သုံးသော မြက်ရှည်အဖြစ်လည်းကောင်း ကြီးထွားကြသည်။[၂] ဆော်ဂမ်ပြောင်းသည် ပရိုတိန်းပြည့်ဝသော အစားအစာ၊ အမျှင်ဓာတ်၊ ဗီတာမင် ဘီနှင့် သတ္တုဓာတ်များ ပေါကြွယ်ဝသည်။
ဆော်ဂမ်ပြောင်းကို ကမ္ဘာတဝှမ်းရှိ ပူနွေးသောရာသီဥတုရှိဒေသများ သို့မဟုတ် လွင်ပြင်ကျယ်ပြီးများတွင် စိုက်ပျိုးကြသည်။[၃] ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်အရ တကမ္ဘာလုံးရှိ ဆော်ဂမ်ပြောင်း ထုတ်လုပ်မှုသည် တန်ချိန်ပေါင်း ၆၁ မီလီယံရှိပြီး အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုက ဦးဆောင်လျက်ရှိသည်။
