These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).

This is a temporary category used to collect pages from all namespaces that use any of the {{lang-??}} templates supported by Module:Lang. Most of these templates will be merged to {{langx}}, per the closure at Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2024_September_27#Replace_and_delete_lang-??_templates § Notes.

This category will help to determine the scope of the replacement work and serve as a measure of how much work remains.
